A model is a simplified representation of reality, designed to capture key aspects of a complex phenomenon. Due to its simplifications, no model is entirely accurate or capable of encompassing all the details of reality. However, some models are useful to the extent that they help us understand patterns, make predictions, and make informed decisions.

• We know that in a normal distribution, approximately 95% of observations fall within two standard deviations of the mean.

• We also know that the market does not follow a normal distribution... however, using this model could this model be a good approximation?

What happens when the price is in an area several deviations from its average?
